Country of manufacture aside, I've played maybe 8 different Kala models, and own one. They all seemed like nice playing, affordable ukes to me. Yes, but most of my golf clubs are made their as well. As stated these are US companies with their own high quality standards so I wouldn't worry about it.

But we recently learned that they are made in China:eek: This doesn't bother me much (a lot of things are made in China these days:rolleyes:) but my friend is rather concerned about it.
